Why they Can't Let the "Insurrection" Lie Die
Domestic politics are changing rapidly.
Overnight, The CDC and Blue State Governors decided the science had shifted and it was suddenly ok to stop wearing masks and social distancing. Of course, this was always the case, but the democrats are losing control of the COVID narrative and they’re ready to move on to more fruitful pastures.
You can expect the COVID lockdown/mask up narrative to re-emerge in the fall, but for now, the left will look to exert their control of the masses in different ways.
Thus, the left wing media machine and deep state bureaucrats are shifting their focus back to the January 6th Capitol protest being an “insurrection” and, according to Joe Biden, “the worst attack on our democracy since The Civil War.”
The Left just can’t let the Insurrection lie die.
An insurrection is a violent attempt to overthrow the government. Does this look like an insurrection to you?
January 6th wasn’t an insurrection. By the Left’s standards, it was barely a riot. More like a quiet stroll in the park. But, the left has to cling to this insurrection narrative for several reasons.
For starters, if they convince enough people that the events that happened on Jan. 6th were an “Insurrection”, they will have “justification” to go after Trump supporters as domestic terrorists.
This is already happening behind the scenes, and we may not know the impacts of this domestic surveillance for quite some time. Remember: If they’re willing to make up a reason to spy on a sitting US President, you and I don’t stand a chance.
House Democrats have introduced a bill to “establish a National Commission to Investigate the Attack on the Capitol”. This gives Congress broad powers to issue subpoenas and calls out the incident as a domestic terrorism attack. The left will use the broad weapons of the intelligence and law enforcement community to go after us all.
Like the Trump witch hunt, when they decide they can’t find any wrong doing, they’ll use everything they’ve learned for their political advantage. Most of the Mueller/Russia Witch Hunt was political theater aimed at distracting the President and hurting his political agenda.
The Insurrection theater is just that, a distraction aimed at increasing the left’s political power. They will milk this narrative through the 2022 midterms. Expect it to be their main election message. Let’s face it, they have nothing else to run on.
One of the saddest aspects of this whole thing is the way the people being arrested for being in and around the Capitol are being treated. Several of them have been held without bail since they were arrested. One even says he was beaten by guards for his political beliefs.
They left wing domestic war machine is also attacking Republican members of Congress who dare speak out against this vast overreach.
To top it all off, in a classic authoritarian move, they are restricting access of the raw film of Jan 6th to defense teams of people locked in jail, citing National Security concerns. Meanwhile they are staunchly defending whoever shot Ashli Babbitt, the unarmed Trump supporter shot in the Capitol. Watch as Tucker Carlson asks “What are they hiding?”
Suffice it to say, the Biden Administration is doing everything is can to make engaging in the political process as a Republican a crime.
Unless of course you’re one of the RINO Republicans they put on CNN and MSNBC all day.
I say let them come at us. I hope they bring their best, because they’ll need it. We must continue to beat the drum of government overreach and remind the American people how we are marching towards Socialism and Authoritarianism every day. Maybe people will begin to wake up. The only way the democrats can cling to power is by stealing an election and using brute force.
There is still hope!
Just don’t do anything dumb and go marching into a government building. That was a Deep State trap and it didn’t help. I get the feelings in the moment, and the desire to “do something”, but we have to be smart. We have to organize, plan, and take measured action. If we let our emotions get the better of us we will make mistakes in the moment and they will use it against us.
Our time will come. We will take America back from our enemies. Keep the faith!
