Time for “Leader” Kevin McCarthy To Go
Breaking the Uni-Party Grip on GOP leadership should be priority #1
When Paul Ryan finally decided to leave Congress the GOP had a window of opportunity to make things right with the MAGA base without publicly sacrificing the old school establishment leadership clique.
In true GOP establishment fashion, they let the opportunity pass them by and instead elevated yet another Uni-Party Swamp Creature to leadership.
California Republican Congressman Kevin McCarthy was never the MAGA choice to lead the House of Representatives.
Like many of the RINOs in our ranks, Kevin said all the right things on Fox News, but his rhetoric never translated into action or results.
Not surprising when you remember who Kevin was pals with and who he “rose to prominence” alongside.
We all know how loathsome Paul Ryan was, but more about how Eric Cantor plays into this later.
After consolidating palace power, “Leader” McCarthy decided to drop the America First rhetoric for Swamp talking points of old.
Shortly after the Jan. 6th mostly peaceful undocumented tour of the US Capitol McCarthy said, "The president bears responsibility for Wednesday's attack on Congress by mob rioters." He also suggested a censure resolution, which would've formally condemned Trump.
McCarthy consistently caves to the mainstream media and constantly surrenders narrative control to the left.
Surrendering the narrative has long been the GOPs biggest weakness. President Trump proved just how powerful a Republican can be when they decide to FIGHT BACK. Sadly, few within the party apparatus have embraced having a spine and standing up for their beliefs.
Now McCarthy is going after freshman Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene for some offhand remark comparing mask mandates to Jews being forced to wear Stars of David to identify themselves in Nazi Germany.
Marjorie Taylor Greene has been one of the most outspoken MAGA Republicans ever elected to Congress. Was her comment a bit shallow? Maybe. But it didn’t require the leader of the caucus to put out a press release of condemnation. Greene is a fierce supporter of Israel at a time when other Democrat Congressmen and women are cheering Hamas terrorists as they launch rockets into the Holy Land.
Kevin McCarthy continue to reveal his true colors: A Uni-Party swamp creature who is unfit for office at all, let alone leadership.
Kevin McCarthy deserves the Eric Cantor treatment.
In 2014, Cantor, then serving as House Majority Leader, lost his Virginia primary to a tea party candidate.
The loss shocked the professional political establishment. It made history
The Tea Party was energized by that win, but the movement eventually fizzled out.
The MAGA movement needs to give McCarthy the Cantor treatment and kick him out of Congress.
He’s up for re-election in 2022. Now is the time to make our move.
Will we fade away like the Tea Party or will we make a lasting impact on the future of the GOP? It feels like we’re on the cusp of something big. Reclaiming the GOP for We the People was always a tall task. It was always going to take longer than one election cycle. It may be a decades long battle.
We have no choice but to push forward. To take back our party, and our country, step by step. Never let them see you lose hope.
Never surrender.
